~Stronger~
Over three years ago twenty-two year old law student Riam Dean sued a London branch of Abercrombie & Fitch, claiming that the store discriminated against her because of her prosthetic arm. Dean was asked to the leave the shop floor and work in the stockroom because she didn't fit the store's "Look Policy" or whatever that was. Is the world supposed to be only filled with the beautiful, perfect, and physically sound? Would that somehow provide the rest of the population some sense of security in themselves? No person with a disability deserves to be discriminated against especially because of something that they can't control. We all have a lot in life. No one is perfect. It reminds me of a time when I was in the seventh grade and some girls that were in a grade above me made fun of me because of the way I laugh. I am naturally a goofy person and when I laugh it sounds completely different from the average person's laugh. I can't talk and have little control over my breathing patterns or whatever. I realize that this may not entirely the same situation as the one previously stated above. I will leave this--- so many times I believe that we forget that our differences are what makes us interesting. No one should be singled out.
